Dr. Carol Swain lambasts ex-Harvard President Claudine Gay for plagiarizing her work

“She used my work to set up a strawman”: Dr. Carol Swain, former Vanderbilt University tenured professor, details ex-Harvard President Claudine Gay’s plagiarism of her doctorate thesis. “I believe that she’s not really Dr. Gay because the plagiarism of my work and some other people’s work, it was in her dissertation. That’s how you get your doctorate,” she says. “And at least when I got my doctorate, you had to have path-breaking, original research. And she’s never produced path-breaking, original research as far as I can see.”
