We reported two years ago how AI was being used in mental health settings. An AI company Character.AI is now being sued for it's product advising a teen to commit self harm. Meanwhile in Michigan, we have passed a law that now allows a 14 year the ability to change their gender on official forms without parental consent.

Are we substituting parents with AI?
