A teacher and a student are dead after a shooting at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, Police Chief Shon Barnes said Monday. Six people were injured, including two who have life- threatening injuries, according to Barnes.

• The shooter, who is also dead, was a female, according to a law enforcement official. The police chief said the suspect was a student at the school.

• Abundant Life Christian school is a K-12 school that serves about 390 students, its website said. It planned to close for Christmas vacation after this week.
