Cleta Mitchell rose to prominence in the political world when she helped Tea Party groups fight back against the Obama-era IRS and their invasive and opaque decisions regarding who and who isn't considered a nonprofit. Then, under the Trump Administration, she led the questioning of the ballot tabulation in the state of Georgia in 2020.
