This is a video of my custom E-Bike riding from my home to the Coke County Library and back. Total distance covered is 26 miles but the video only covers the ride from my house to the library. The first quarter mile is a rocky dirt road. Then 2 miles of paved road followed by 2 more miles of dirt road and then the rest of the trip is paved. The bike has 2 motors burning 1600 watts of power each at full throttle. The motors are powered by 52 Volts and 40 amps of lithium batteries. Top speed is over 45mph. Range varies from 35 miles to over 100 miles depending upon speed, incline, pedal assist, weight, and wind. As a 280 pound rider I regularly get over 35 miles of range riding at 25 mph. The bike has mechanical disk brakes front & back. The motors are controlled automatically by either throttle or pedal assist. The tires are 26" and have about half their life left. The seat is custom built and has amazing padding for a bike seat. Cost to ride for me has been under a penny a mile. Charging take up to 7 hours depending on how far it's discharged. Bottom line: Riding this bike is a hoot - you will never have to pedal and the only noise you will hear is the tires on the road and the wind in your ears.
