The Stoeger STR-9 series of pistols is a budget minded 9mm striker fired pistol based on a similar glock gen 3 design int he striker system. The Str-9 is basically a compact capacity with a more full size to it like the original HK VP9 where the MC is the micro compact or sub compact to compete with the glock 43x and shield size arena.
