A closer look at the QuickDrive x Dewalt set up

I wanted to give you guys a closer and more in-depth look at my floor screw gun set up.

This is the Simpson Strong-Tie SIM-PRO250G2DC2K Quik Drive Cordless PRO250G2 Subfloor System

The gun runs on Dewalts battery platform so there’s no need to lug cords all over the place. Less tripping hazards and best of all, you don’t have to yell at the apprentice for dragging your $300 extension cord through the subfloor adhesive!

This set up is a back saver and makes quick work of screwing down the floor.

For this video demonstration, I installed some screws into an already framed floor system. We would have one guy running the glue gun, one guy bringing sheets, and one guy following behind screwing the sheets down.
