EXCERPT:
"Welcome to the Shuv Show. I’m your host Christene Jackman.
Tonight’s topic is: The cursing of the fig tree found in Matthew and Mark. It’s an intriguing little incident the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) saw fit to include in those Gospels. But what did this pocket-sized incident really mean? Is there a depth to the account that cannot be seen from merely a cursory glance?

When I was reading the account of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) cursing the fig tree, multiple confusing questions arose from the details. Searching through various commentaries and articles left me unsatisfied. Their suppositions did not tick all the boxes.

Is the cursing of the fig tree only about:

• Having faith to move mountains?
• Or a veiled accusation on certain apostate Jewish Leaders and individuals?

It could be yes, yes, and one more item: a not unusual way of looking at things from a Biblical, Near-Eastern, Hebraic mindset . . . "
