Messiah's Mighty Men - Ep8 - Restoring the New Wineskin

In Matthew 9:17, Yeshua says: Neither do people put new wine into old wineskins, or else the skins would burst, and the wine be spilled, and the skins ruined. No, they put new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved.”

In modern Christian culture, most believe that the “Old Wineskin” represents the Jewish Religion and the “New Wineskin” represents the Christian Church. I feel this analysis is a gross oversimplification, the “Old Wineskin” could be better described as all forms of man-made religion.

In 2024, there were approximately 47,000 Christian denominations according to the Center for the Study of Global Christianity; however, the Bible specifies there is "One Body", not many. Could all of this disunity in the assembly today be attributed to the wrong container (wineskin)?
In this discussion, I would like to establish the container of which the new wine can freely flow; the structure that Yeshua Messiah set out for us in the scriptures. This will help to explain why we aren’t seeing much of the new wine being poured out today, and what can be done to change that.
