December 10th, 2024: Update Traveling to Carlton Place for groceries and supplies.

Just a lad living the Canadian bush life with a bit of a Trailer Park Boys twist, eh?😉

I share my not-so-daily vlogs from my camp, which I call Winterfell. Expect ATV rides, fishing, camping escapades, growing stuff😉, camp projects, and whatever else I get into.

Different? For sure. Boring at times? You bet. Controversial? Sometimes. Real? Always!

Hey there, I’m Big Paul, also known as Lad From The Woods. I’m a proud rebel from the '60s and '70s, with a colourful past as a rock and roller, ex-biker, strip club manager, truck driver, and party lover since '62.

I call the Ottawa Valley in Eastern Ontario home, living full-time in my 1989 33ft Travelaire RV with my three cats: Wally, Blackie, and Goldie, right here at Winterfell Camp in the wild.

I’m Canadian/American, with roots in the Bruce Peninsula, Ontario, and Southeastern Michigan since the early 1800s. I spent my summers in the '60s and '70s, bouncing between Ontario and Michigan.

I deal with PTSD and live on a disability pension, but I’m taking it one day at a time. Life’s been tough, but I’ve always done things my way, with no regrets.

I’m all about fishing, hunting, ice fishing, camping, road trips, partying, 4-wheeling, motorcycling, full-time RV living, cooking, growing great weed and happy fungus, and enjoying coffee, whisky, and weed.

I've got a fishing boat called the F/V "Quadrophenia," named after that iconic album by The Who. Plus, I can’t forget my trusty 4-wheeler, a 660cc Yamaha Grizzly I affectionately call "Moonie." I definitely ride it way too wild for someone my age!

I’m also a two-time UFO witness and a firm believer in the whole phenomenon.

I’m all about keeping it real, like YouTube was originally intended for. I'm not trying to create some grand spectacle movie production.
