Public FURY As Latest DEPRAVED Deal With Israel Just Got Exposed!

Right, so to what should no longer be a surprise to anyone Keir Starmer’s rancid pro Zionist Labour Party are still very much doing decidedly dubious deals with Israel when they know they’re doing something wrong, something they know that the majority of the British populace will condemn and when they got rumbled, when they got questioned about it, boy did they squirm they worms on a hook.
Questions put by the Foreign Affairs Select Committee to junior minister’s in David Lammy’s department regarding the justification of arms sales to Israel was met with bluster, deference to departmental heads and sweaty faces, but even this was only the tip of the iceberg as once you really dig into it you discover that since Starmer’s Labour government pulled a handful of arms export licences, less than 10% of those in place, you find out that not only have even more arms export licences been granted, but more have been signed off on, than were originally pulled.
Right, so that was a House of Commons clip from the Foreign Affairs Select Committee and no that wasn’t Jonathan Ashworth yet again popping up on your screen, this wasn’t Good Morning Britain after all, looking flustered and sweaty the moment 2000lb bombs being dropped on tents by Israel were concerned, though I can see the resemblance, however that was Cardiff South and Penarth MP, as well as the Minister for Europe, North America and Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty, probably best known for resigning from Jeremy Corbyn’s top team during the so called chicken coup attempt to topple a socialist leader of a then at least this democratic socialist party live on TV, allegedly at the prompting of Laura Kuenssberg. Selling arms to Israel definitely not a resigning matter for him now though. This was a just a very simple question asking how ongoing arms sales can be justified when the people they are selling to are the sort of people who will drop 2000lb on tents with people in them, but despite his ministerial titled and his responsibilities he quickly turned to his Sir Humphrey type department head to fluff some sort of a response for him to Committee chair Liam Byrne’s direct question. Sir Humphrey then made a pigs ear of trying to demonstrate why this isn’t a violation of International Humanitarian Law, to which as Byrne rightly pointed out, meant this was a legal act of war by deafault, which elicited more fluff. Not very Sir Humphrey-like at all, he knows his lines, so I won’t keep calling him that, and if the reference isn’t familiar to you, do look up Yes, Minister, there’s clips galore on social media, fill your boots, I had a clip come up on my tiktok earlier that’s why it’s on the brain, but it was a complete lash up, it couldn’t be justified, but it’s happening anyway, all of it makes the UK a prime candidate for legal action down the line against UK ministers in relation to the ongoing atrocities being committed by Israel in Gaza and elsewhere besides.
There were other points during the questioning that warrant a mention due to their sheer callousness and idiocy as well, as the foreign office run by David Lammy ends up resembling more and more a circus with every passing moment.
Doughty was asked why there was no conclusion that had been come to, a position by the government on the fact 2000lb bombs are being dropped on tightly packed civilians, and where the answer is quite obviously, there should be, that there isn’t is shameful, apologise and rectify immediately clearly stating it is not acceptable, instead Doughty said:
‘There is a technicality here about the way the assessments are done, and the way in which those then inform.’
Assessment? Why is such a thing needed for such a glaringly obvious matter? It’s either right or it’s wrong, pick one. The weasel of a man resembles Jonathan Ashworth even more now doesn’t he?
Another of his cohorts, Lord Vernon Coaker, responded when Ministers were asked how the UK could consider the disproportionality of Israel’s levelling of Gaza to be such an unknown, despite all of those RAF flights being conducted, and after all, we know roughly half of all intelligence flights being conducted for Israel are being conducted by our RAF from the RAF base on Cyprus, RAF Akrotiri, and that is indeed what Coaker drew attention to, not hiding the fact, but saying they were there to gather intelligence and that is all they did. Well they must have seen other stuff, or were they ordered to wear blinkers? Were they never asked to respond to other events and scenes they had witnessed? Surely they must have seen something, enough flights were going on? Apparently not. Skwawkbox has covered more of the nonsense and those involved in their article titled, ‘Video: ministers, officials squirm as they try to justify helping Israel’s genocide’ so do check that out as well.
All in all, the conclusion we must draw is that the foreign office cannot justify it’s ignorance, the plausible deniability it seems intent on fostering when it comes to atrocities being committed by Israel and their loyalties to the genocidal, apartheid state, but coming on to that matter of arms sales, the quisling excuses they’re coming out with when pressed by the committee in place to hold them to account makes this latest news all the more inexcusable and unforgivable.
As you may well be aware some months ago, it was fairly big news at the time, the UK Foreign Office suspended 30 of the 350 arms export licenses to Israel and they also issued a legal note along with its decision to suspend those licences to Israel saying they were doing so on the basis that Israel probably was violating international humanitarian law where they were blocking aid getting through to Gaza or where they were clearly being exposed for mistreating prisoners and meting out torture, but stopped short of going any further. The implication of that is that the UK and US as well, is that they consider the invasion of Gaza as being lawful, because if they didn’t do that, they couldn’t justify any further arms sales and this was very much the direction the fluster and bluster was taking in that committee round of questioning from the earlier clip.
Well of course this caused uproar at the time, less than 10% of all the arms licences were being banned, there was real furore over the fact F-35 jet parts weren’t being blocked which kicked off a legal challenge by the Global Legal Action Network, GLAN over these arms exports and a High Court by them against the government found on the 4th of this month in favour of GLAN, which has forced the government to review, weight added to this as it was by the fact the ICC had issued arrest warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant.
That news if anything makes this latest exposure of government depravity even worse, because where GLAN want a full ban on arms exports to Israel, where the UK government has banned 30, since then, a further 34 arms export licences have been approved.
All of this has come despite the government having not carried out a compliance check for Israel on international humanitarian law since July, so that’s before the arms export bans that we have seen came in. Despite Vernon Coaker’s determination that there was nothing else to see in the RAF intelligence gathering flights, the government itself hasn’t even bothered to ask to see said footage to see for itself and it has also turned out that the biggest excuse over not blocking those F-35 jet parts, which is that as part of an internation manufacturing program, UK parts were intrinsic to that and would stymie the entire construction process of F-35 jets, it turns out that UK parts can be tracked by the US so can be ensured against falling into Israeli hands. Declassified UK have written an extensive and detailed expose of this story, published just yesterday, titled ‘Labour allowed dozens of arms exports to Israel after weapons sanctions.’ Here’s a short excerpt:
‘Keir Starmer’s government has continued to approve arms exports to Israel even after some licences were suspended in September, it can be revealed.
31 “standard” and three “open” licences for military goods have been issued to Israel since 2 September, when UK foreign secretary David Lammy announced partial restrictions on arms sales to Israel.
Those items included “components for trainer aircraft” and “commercial aircraft” which were “not assessed to be used in relation to current military operations in Gaza”.
However, training aircraft can still be used to instruct Israeli pilots on how to conduct offensive operations in Gaza.
35 “standard” and six “open” licences were also approved for items classed as “non-military” such as telecommunications equipment and imaging cameras.
The UK government refused to issue a further 18 licences to Israel for “components for combat aircraft and naval vessels, as well as components for targeting and radar equipment”.’
Fundamentally, it seems that Starmer and Co think they can get away with still sending less offensive items, completely missing the point that people want a trade ban, no more arms exports at all and instead they think they can work around that, all whilst clearly not doing the necessary due diligence and required checks. Arms embargo now. Nothing else will suffice.
Meanwhile Lammy himself has fared no better in defending the indefensible, as he has now claimed in parliament that taking down Assad in Syria has meant the country is no longer blighted by terrorists. Someone please inform the daft sod they are now literally running the country!
