90s HC gems: Crud Is A Cult / Deadguy / Honeywell [ NAIL WORSHIP RADIO ]

It’s time to talk about an overlooked gem of 1990’s hardcore — the brutal and funny straight-edge band Crud Is A Cult. Fronted by the legendary Sean McCabe (Ink & Dagger, Mandela Strikeforce) and consisting of the entirety of the PA band Flagman (as well as future Deadguy members), Crud made ultra-heavy hardcore with a mischievous flair. Jason and Joshua also get into the genius of Dave Rosenberg (Deadguy, Flagman, Chain To Thread) and their shared love of Honeywell (who unfortunately more or less invented the atrocious screamo vocal despite having the best vocals).
