This is an episode in the ongoing series What is the Bible where we look at the history and composition of the Chirstian Bible. Here we are taking a brief overview of the Torah.
The Torah contains the first 5 books of the Jewish and Christain Bible and is widely considered the "Books of Moses" or the "Law".
Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy contain the origin of the Hebrew, Israelite, and Jewish people, as well as the foundation of Christianity with 4 major covenants between God and men. The first is with Adam, then Noah. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (aka Israel) share the same covenant. Then finally with the Hebrews (late called Israelites) through Moses.
Several online resources were used when researching the document hypothesis and similar hypotheses concerning the historical formation of these books including thetorah.com, My Jewing Learning, and the Rabbinical Assembly, among others. Links are provided below.

90 & Out is a video commentary on the Christian Bible with new episodes uploaded periodically.
90 & Out is written, directed, and presented by Timothy Holt.
Timothy Holt serves as youth pastor at Six Points Church in Parker, PA and is the former children's pastor at Westdale Church in Cedar Rapids, IA. Timothy Holt believes the Christian Bible can be read easily but may take some effort to understand. With so many variations out there, how does one start their search for the truth. Hopefully, this channel with help you read and understand the Christian Bible more fully, as well as, being entertained.
