Why I changed the name of my channel from "Old Men in Chairs"

As of today I have officially changed the name of my channel to "The Clarion Call." That is a name I have used for 35 years, first as the title of a weekly editorial column that I wrote in my Clarion newspaper from 1989-2007.

After retiring from the newspaper business, I continued to write columns for my Clarion Call blog on Wordpress. Those can be seen here:

Starting in 2022, I switched to a Substack column. My latest Substack goes into more details on the history of my column and why I decided to change the name here:

There should be no major changes in my approach to videos. I will still be doing the same combination of reactions and opinions that you have come to love!
