The power of the Prince Rupert drop

A Prince Rupert's drop is a teardrop-shaped piece of glass formed by dripping molten glass into cold water. This rapid cooling process creates internal stresses within the glass, making it incredibly strong at the head but extremely fragile at the tail. The head can withstand significant impacts, while the slightest damage to the tail causes the entire drop to shatter explosively.
