Storm Shield Forecast morning update 7/12/18

We could see much of the same forecast today, with a 20% chance of scattered showers mid-day in the Kern desert and local mountains but more heat evaporating that moisture as temperatures ramp up for the afternoon. We're staying dry here in the valley with another day of moderate air quality and a Bakersfield high of 101 degrees. The Kern River Valley tops out in the upper 90s once again with the upp 80s in Tehachapi and mid-80s in Frazier Park.
