The Game Awards 2024 - Mind Games OVERCAST

By now we all know what to expect from these awards: Keighley Concerts, Quotas, and Cringe. Salutations Gamers and Horror Fans, it's I once again, your Control Freak, Inkarnate. This time I'm setting down the gamepad sitting back and providing my live reaction to the Game Awards, the industry's pretentious and overblown celebration of gaming that has fast tracked itself to Hollywood levels of self-aggradizement. Personally, I don't care about the awards. They're not going to entice me to play any game that I hadn't already wishlisted. For me it's all about the Trailers, and even then, it's strictly Survival Horror, what rumored reveals get debunked, what surprises are in store, what trailers do they have on tap. Resident Evil 9 is rumored so let's see what they got for us in the year to come.
