Tony Thacker just came out with a new book that fills a void left for nearly 30 years. "How To Chop Tops" is a great resource for people thinking of lowering the lid on their hot rod. The book is full of great color photos that not only cover the work done at famous rod shops, but cover the history of chopped rods and customs. There is a chapter on tools of the trade and even one on cutting glass. I'd recommend this book as a good resource for anyone wanting to chop a top and those interested in seeing some behind the scenes photos of pro builders and the cars you have read about in magazines.
