Building a Network of Altars

Today 12 - 12 - 24 with Double Portion of 12 and God's Perfect Government we reflect on the words of Bob Dylan, "Oh, The times, they are a-changing." Today, we gather to recognize the miracles unfolding around us God has called us to build a network of altars, places where we can encounter Him and seek His face. In the story of David, we see how God instructed him to build an altar to halt the plague ravaging the land. This act of obedience not only stopped the immediate judgment but also restored the relationship between God and His people.

We, too, are called to create environments that invite God's presence into our lives and communities. By dedicating ourselves to prayer, worship, and seeking His face, we can foster an atmosphere where transformation can occur. This is not merely about seeking personal blessings, but about being agents of change in our families, neighborhoods, and nations.

Our Role in God's Plan

As we engage in this journey of faith, we must remember that we are not passive observers. We are active participants in God's plan. The authority we possess is not for our own gain but for the purpose of advancing His kingdom. We are called to stand in the gap, to intercede for our nations, and to declare His truth in a world that desperately needs it.

Let us not be discouraged by the challenges we face or the darkness that surrounds us. Instead, let us rise up with boldness and confidence, knowing that the Lion of the Tribe of Judah is roaring on our behalf. We are in a season of sudden shifts and transformations, and as we align ourselves with God's will, we can expect to see His hand move powerfully in our midst.

Conclusion: A Call to Action

Today, I challenge each of you to reflect on the authority you carry as a child of God. Embrace the power of your words, the significance of your actions, and the importance of building altars in your life. Let us commit to creating environments where God's presence can dwell, and where His glory can be revealed in our communities.

As we move forward, let us do so with the confidence that we are not alone. God is with us, guiding and empowering us to fulfill our destinies. Together, we can be agents of change, bringing hope, healing, and transformation to a world in need. Let us rise and shine, for our light has come, and the glory of the Lord is upon us.
