JAYO Black PLA+ Filament 3d Printing Review - Part 2

This two-part video shows the testing of JAYO Black PLA. It's cheaper than some of the other PLA's I'm using like FilaCube (which is an excellent filament I highly recommend).

Normally I wouldn't swap filaments if I find one that's working for me. But since I'm making things for sale, I'm always trying to find less expensive materials to cut down on my costs.

One unique thing about JAYO PLA+ is that it comes in 1.1kg reels instead of 1.0kg rolls. That's an extra 10% and it's still cheaper than FilaCube per reel!

Does it measure up? Watch and find out.

Part 1 covers unboxing and weighing of the reel along with print a temperature tower to find the best temperature for the extruder.

Part 2 covers a layer and bed adhesion test that checks to see if it can be printed at a 0.3mm layer height instead of the usual 0.2mm. That will speed up printing of tall models. Finally I print out a castle dice tower that I sell on my Etsy store. One purpose of switching to this new filament is to see if I can lower the price of that tower by reducing the price of materials used to print it and how long it takes to print (switching to 0.3mm layer height).
