'Seal #2' Original Art Painting Timelapse 12-11-24

Started a series of paintings influenced by the Heirloom Seal of the Realm, which was an ancient Jade seal created during the Qin Dynasty as the imperial seal of China. It was carved into a famous piece of Jade known as He Shi Bi. There is a crazy history about the seal throughout centuries, and wars were fought over the seal, but it was eventually lost. Seals in general are interesting to me as an art form. The Heirloom Seal of the Realm reminded me of a certain style of art I used to make and it inspired me to step back into that brain state for a bit. In general though I like the idea of making seals and I think I am going to make it a continuous series in some form.
