Selena Gomez & Ariana Grande TEXTED Each Other After Golden Globes Noms

Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande are showing their support and admiration for each other after both being nominated in the same Golden Globes category. The two women sat next to each other the Academy Women’s Luncheon presented by Chanel at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures after the “Eternal Sunshine” singer requested it. “I don’t know Selena as well as I wish I did so I’m excited to sit next to her today,” Ari tells Variety. “I respect her so much, and I’ve always adored her.” Gomez was nominated for a Golden Globe for best performance by a female actor in a supporting role for her role in “Emilia Perez.” Grande-Butera was nominated in the same category for her role as Glinda in the film “Wicked.” Selena revealed to the outlet that Ari was one of the first to text her after the nominations were announced saying, “It was the sweetest note.”
