While the Spotlight's on Syria, All Hell Breaks Loose In Gaza.

Right, so whilst the world is focusing on the situation in Syria following the fall of the Assad regime and the rise of an Al-Qaeda led one in it’s place, all with the aid of western support, as well as that of Turkey and Israel, we can’t lose sight of what is happening elsewhere, where Israel are equally still committing atrocity, because it is so easy to focus on a new assault and forget about those already happening, one new war front becoming a distraction to forget about other areas equally still under assault, because that enables even greater atrocities to be committed whilst a blind eye gets cast to them and this is always going to be the danger of Israel’s wider war, that it all becomes a distraction from what is happening somewhere else, and nowhere is that more true than in Gaza, which has been laid siege to in the north in the south and in between all whilst the events in Syria dominate headlines. We cannot forget what is still going on in Gaza for that would be a travesty and with israel seemingly increasing it’s atrocities there into the bargain, they know that the world is distracted and they’re taking full advantage of that. Be a shame if that got caught up to wouldn’t it?
Right, so Israel has, with the events in Syria providing cover, been laying siege to Gaza in a manner not seen for some time, with the main targets having been Jabalia, the refugee camp in northern Gaza, Nuseirat, the refugee camp in Khan Younis in central Gaza and Rafah in the far south of Gaza, where a large proportion of the Strip’s civilians are still trapped, unable to move anywhere else. In addition to that, the Kamal Adwan hospital has been struck repeatedly over the last few days, leaving health workers as well as civilians amongst the dead.
So we’ll start in the north which is also where the Kamal Adwan hospital is and this strike has been particularly notable, and is entirely in keeping with the thinking that Israel are getting away, literally with murder whilst eyes are turned towards Syria, because they didn’t even bother with an evacuation order before striking the hospital on Friday of last week.
It was reported that at 4am that morning, people were told to move out of the health centre without a formal evacuation order having been given in advance, with an Israeli tank advancing on the building at the same time. People were literally trying to climb walls to escape, and when the Israeli forces opened fire, more deaths, injuries and arrests were then made, having forced people out, when the order to leave the north by Israel has of course already been given and everyone there under that order found being judged to be an active combatant now, all were guilty of being Hamas therefore.
The director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, Dr Hossam Abu Safia, issued a statement, hoping the world will hear it, but you won’t have seen it on any mainstream news outlets, having fallen down the news agenda now, but he said:
‘We urgently call on the international community to intervene and stop the ongoing bloodshed against the remaining citizens in the northern Gaza Strip, as well as against the health system that is under constant attack day and night Our facilities and employees are being targeted, and it is essential that we take immediate action to protect them.’
Absolutely right, the most aggravating factor is we all know this is going on, we all know Israel is blocking aid especially in the north, especially to the hospital and medical supplies, they don’t want anyone in the north, they want them all gone and we’ve already tens of thousands being forced to take to the road and head south knowing not where it will be safe to go, because Israel keep moving the designated safe zones, keep forcibly displacing people and that is worst of all in the north, where they want no Gazan left whatsoever. War crimes, the definition of the crime of genocide, taking place and it is barely worth a news story any more.
Where medical aid is needed our leaders instead talk of Israel’s right to self defence. But in what way is it self defence to target defenceless people and hospitals, war crimes that go completely unheeded because Israel has a right to defend itself is all bought and paid for Zionist shills can open their mouths and say?
The only way Israel can possibly go lower than to target a hospital is to target a refugee camp, where people have nothing, barely any shelter let alone anything else, so of course the Jabalia refugee camp has been struck too.
This is where much of the displacement of people from the north of Gaza has been conducted, but that doesn’t stop Israel from still attacking it and again, whilst our attention was on Syria, Israel intensified it’s wanton destruction here too, ordering persistent survivors still hanging on here to flee and attacking them whether they chose to flee or not, it made no difference to the IDF. More footage has come out online by those accounts still tracking Israel’s activities in Gaza of more homes being flattened, notably one event in the northern city of Beit Hanoun just yesterday, or what is left of it, saw 25 people killed including the wiping out of two entire families.
All through the Gaza Strip, borders remain shuttered, humanitarian aid is not getting in, a policy of starvation has been implemented throughout the Strip, all crossings have been closed into Gaza for over 200 days now, and it is the Israeli siege of Gaza that has directly led to that and the moment eyes are off them in Gaza, they increase that atrocity. Depraved, deranged and degenerate. That should be the motto of the so-called, self proclaimed most moral army in the world.
Continuing that theme of striking refugee camps though, in central Gaza the refugee camp of Nuseirat has come under increased attack.
An excerpt from Al-Jazeera on this strike reading:
‘At least seven people were killed and many wounded by an Israeli air attack on a house in central Gaza’s Nuseirat camp early on Tuesday, according to medics.
The house was targeted on Tuesday morning, the Palestinian Civil Defence said in a statement, adding that its teams recovered seven bodies and rescued a number of wounded people from the site of the attack.
Anadolu Agency quoted a medical source at al-Awda Hospital as saying that the victims included a woman and three children.
The report added that the Israeli strikes severely damaged surrounding buildings as well.
The Quds News Network reported that Palestinian footballer Mohamed Khalifa was among the victims of the attack.’
Air strikes on a house, air strikes on refugees, all no longer newsworthy apparently, except in foreign media and where alternative and independent media keep picking it up.
Amongst those killed in this strike, targeted by Israeli helicopters were two children and a young man, because you know, Israel keep telling us that they avoid civilian casualties all the time, that they do their best to avoid them, but the problem is everything and every building and every person becomes Hamas the minute their caught blatantly targeting civilians right down to young children.
Another house targeted killed an entire family of 7 asleep in their beds. Gaza has become a cemetery for children, this has been a war on women and children, where 70% of those killed have been women and children and not Hamas, all whilst the world looks on I disbelief as still nothing changes, nothing gets done and the biggest reprobates calling themselves world leaders veto any response, or sit on their hands or just carry on supporting Israel saying they have the right to defend themselves, but that right is never, ever extended to those Israel attacks. It is sickening and angering and just becomes all the more so as every day more news comes out of further Israeli atrocity, never any end in sight.
And then it comes down to Rafah in the far south, where so many Gazan’s remain trapped, having been displaced from everywhere else.
Over the weekend, just north of Rafah City itself, 3 civilians were killed in an Israeli drone strike, two more were killed in a separate drone strike to Rafah’s northwest and one other was killed in an Israeli attack in the nearby town of Khirbet-al-Adas. By Monday night another Palestinian was killed with several more injured in an airstrike on Rafah, by Israel, another home targeted just north of Gaza, not a military target, but again someone’s house, because let’s face it, there’s not much left in Gaza standing save for civilian structures, but let’s not let that stop Israel, who clearly have a right to defend themselves against literally still standing.
Just yesterday footage came out of Israeli soldiers from the Givati battalion firing a rocket at another home in Gaza, clearly not under any attack, the building allegedly occupied by one of so many displaced families and they were laughing and joking about it, targeting this building quite blatantly for fun.
Elsewhere, happening today as I’m writing this, near the Al-Mawasi camp, the designated safe zone for displaced Palestinians, those capable of getting there at any rate, an area that is effectively a rubbish dump in Gaza, therefore of course Israel force people to go there, an entire residential block was blown up by rocket fire, the nearby settlement of Ezbet-el-Nada, with tanks turning their fire on the tents of the displaced in Al-Mawasi itself.
The atrocities in Gaza have increased now that Israel knows global attention has been diverted. Where people are cheering the end of the Assad regime, Netanyahu is getting his way more than ever in Gaza, as well as the ongoing breaches of the ceasefire with Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, every day more and more of them being accounted for.
We cannot ever stop talking about this and keeping attention on this, it is so crucial now that Israel have so obviously exposed themselves for the genocidal apartheid regime they are, because this is what happens – you give them an inch, they take a mile.
