Enemies almost never drop anything worthwhile in this game mode and reward so little experience. This must be designed assuming the player wouldn't skip ahead and loot better equipment. Since >80% of your character's stats in the long term come from only your equipment, a sub-level 20 character can beat level 30+ enemies simply by having good equipment and a little skillful input from the player. It'd also be possible for a level 1 to beat a level 50 if not for the many high level enemies whose attacks inflict damage at the very start of the attack animation, not when the enemy's swinging weapon would touch the player, so the equipment is necessary to survive at least one hit without immediately dying.

How would an archer handle fighting any of these enemies or making any progress since the start of this game mode? First, spend two hours harvesting ore to make arrows. Second, your base is destroyed. Third, delete the character.
