Gateway Church Latest News Results of Investigation in Robert Morris Allegations Are Complete. Gateway Church elders announce the results of the third party investigation into the allegations of the Robert Morris scandal. Five months ago Robert Morris Pastor has stepped down and resigns as Senior Pastor of Gateway Church. Robert Morris Allegation include “inappropriate SA behavior with a young lady” more than 35 years ago while he was a young pastor after a woman named Cindy Clemishire accused him of SA her over multiple years beginning when she was 12. His abuse of Cindy Clemishire lasted 4.5 years and ended with Roberts removal from ministry for two years at the time. It seems at the time that Pastor Robert Morris didn’t seem to share all the details about his moral failure. He said his SA was with a “young lady” but she was only 12 years and was a young little girl. Due to this information coming to light Robert Morris steps down. Well Gateway Church launched an investigation to go over all the details to find out the full truth. Well in this Robert Morris update new details emerge. The elders revealed no other victims were found of Robert Morris. But he did ask for money from the church. And the church announced their is an ongoing criminal investigation into the matter. In this Gateway church news the church announced many changes to their corporate structures to prevent this from happening in the future. The church will be getting rid of paid elders as well as eliminating apostolic elders.
