REMINDER: Roger Ver gets really mad when "Bitcoin Cash" is called "B Cash" 💩🪙🤣

Roger Ver created a fork of Bitcoin (BTC) called Bitcoin Cash (BCH). When BTC was forked without consensus, there was a lot of back and forth around if BTC was going to die and BCH would be the winner due to Bigger Blocks and Faster/Cheaper Transactions. BCH really did seem like an improved version of Bitcoin that could serve as money for day-to-day transactions. However, it was a distraction. Roger could have developed a layer solution for Bitcoin that could have facilitated this, like the Lightning Network did. But his ego got in the way and he believed he could create a better Bitcoin. 20,000 other Shitcoins out there had the same idea.

Roger also bought "Bitcoin.com" and used it to sell Bitcoin Cash to people who thought they were buying Bitcoin. Leading to a lot of anger towards him for seemingly scamming unknowledgeable customers.

He also insists that BCH be called "Bitcoin Cash" to leech off the name of "Bitcoin" to give his unauthorized fork legitimacy. As shown here, he gets enraged when someone calls it "B Cash".

If I remember correctly, BCH and BTC were both $4k each during the initial fork. They shared the same Blockchain up until the fork, so if you had pre-BCH Bitcoin, you could extract 1 BCH from each BTC you had (airdrop) and then you'd have both 1 BTC and 1 BCH. Most people immediately sold their Bitcoin Cash and bought more Bitcoin with the proceeds when disinterest lead to fewer miners on the network making it prone to hacking and DDoS attacks.

Roger Ver was put on the spot after claiming BCH would beat BTC and was asked to trade 1 of his BTC coins per 1 BCH to put his money where his mouth is. Roger declined. Since then, BCH fell to $515 today and the OG BTC rose to $97k.
Pretty clear who won. Sorry about your failed "B Cash" project, Roger.
