IDF “Destroys 3 Syrian Bases”, Rebels Find “Tortured Bodies”, Iran Fumes Over Golan Incursion

Lebanese media and Kan broadcaster reported that officials from the toppled Syrian regime, including Bashar al-Assad’s family, fled to Lebanon with Hezbollah's help. Ali Mamlouk, former director of Syria’s National Security Bureau, crossed the border before Assad’s fall and is wanted for his involvement in political assassinations. The officials were smuggled into Beirut and are believed to have sought refuge in Dahiyeh, a Hezbollah stronghold.

Syrian rebels vowed to pursue war criminals involved in torture, revealing the discovery of 40 bodies showing signs of torture near Damascus. The Pentagon confirmed that US strikes on ISIS targets in Syria were possible after Russian forces withdrew.
