Why does Our Loving God allow for so many difficult delays in the fulfillment of His promises to us

I preached this 14 years ago Nov 13 2010 at a time when we were losing everything we came to Pilot Mountain to enjoy in May of 2005. We were losing Our 22 acres of beautiful land, our gorgeous cafe, and my successful contracting business.

I thought He wanted to me to leave the US with our large family of seven very capable and talented children and with the soon coming 8th child inside the womb of my wife Sharon. These heavy decision were precipitated by the political and financial upheaval in America during the crash of 2008 and 2009 which really hurt us and millions of other Americans.

I believed the rise of Barack Obama was leading to the end of the USA as a superpower nation. I knew he came to destroy us as a Christian nation, that fact is still true, isn’t it? God Almighty has a special plan of judgment for BO and all those who worked in concert with him.

When God Almighty closed the door to Canada in 2010 He eventually led us to California in Feb 2011 at the same time we were losing my wife's mother to the same cancer that took my mom in May of 2002.

None of these Divine leadings made any sense 14 years ago but we had no other choice but to trust the Living God, Our Jehovah, that He owns all of time and He has ordained each day of our lives.

So today, Dec 10 2024, I find myself in a major delay of the Land Vision He gave me now 14 years ago to build a place for retreat, renewal, and restoration of human souls in times of trouble. Our current goal to oversee a place where people dwell together in beautiful Holy Spirit filled unity each playing their part in a beautiful symphony of grace and godly work.

Btw, Our Heavenly Father brought our family back to Pilot Mountain in Feb 2014. We still live in the beautiful old house He gave to us at a time when we had nothing and our kids were just starting manifesting their gifts and talents. Impactourcity.com

We are learning in these difficult delays how much faith it takes for incredible miracles to happen. The Training of our souls happens in the “longer expected” delays where our will is refined in the purifying fire of His testing. He chastens every son He receives into His Kingdom. We have an abundant entrance into glory if we learn how to wait.

We are being trained to reign with Christ for a 1000 years. I have personally been assigned the task of preparing the earth and His people for His soon coming Return and His 1000 years millennial reign from Jerusalem.

Meditate on these truths found in the book of Revelation 19 and 20

Christ on a White Horse

11 ¶ Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.

12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself.

13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.

14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.

15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:

KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

The Beast and His Armies Defeated

17 ¶ Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the supper of the great God,

18 “that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.”

19 ¶ And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.

20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.

21 And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.

Satan Bound 1000 Years

1 ¶ Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;

3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.

The Saints Reign with Christ 1000 Years

4 ¶ And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.
