The Bridge Is Ooouuuttt!

While running a freight train over Raton Pass with my son's Kato AT&SF -944CW I failed to notice that the lift-out bridge had been removed. The -944CW fell to the concrete floor before I could stop the train.

The accident happened over four years ago and at the time I was convinced that it would be very difficult to get the unit operational again.

Parts needed to repair 610 have not been available from Kato since the accident occurred. In December of this year (2024) I inspected the unit again and began to have hope of being able to restore it. Come along as I attempt to restore 610.
