SYNOPSIS:

Ten-year-old Alanna lives in a quiet neighborhood, where the most exciting thing is the occasional stray cat wandering by. But one late night, she witnesses something much darker just outside her bedroom window. "Old Man Cadillac Black," a homeless drifter known for his rambling stories and weathered basket of odds and ends, is attacked by another transient. Alanna watches, frozen with fear, as a struggle ensues and Cadillac Black is brutally killed for his possessions.
