KCPD is investigating after someone left household garbage that looked suspicious at a Northland QuikTrip. Police told 41 Action News they received a call about a suspicious package just before 3 a.m. and evacuated the QuikTrip on North Oak near 94th street. It was later determined someone was just careless in disposing their garbage, and the package was not an explosive device. Police said they are going to look into security footage and see about possibly filing charges.
