MOSCOW: The President of Russia met in the Kremlin with the chairmen of the parliaments of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.

Russia is waiting for the leaders of the CSTO countries in Moscow on May 9, 2025 and invites military units of these states to participate in the parade, the head of state noted.

Russia is firmly committed to strengthening the authority of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the chairmen of the parliaments of the organization's member states.

At the meeting of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, recommendations were approved to counter external destructive attempts to revise and distort the historical truth about World War II, as well as an appeal to the parliaments of all countries of the world on the occasion of the anniversary of Victory.

"We are firmly committed to strengthening the organization, increasing its authority, its role in ensuring peace and stability throughout the vast Eurasian space. We are united in our support for the formation of a fair multipolar world order, equal indivisible security, respect for each other's sovereign interests and the right of each to its own development model," Putin said.

The Russian leader stressed that the interaction of the CSTO countries is built in the spirit of cooperation, military brotherhood and mutual assistance.
