Taking DJI Air 3 for a Walk

JD took his DJI Air 3 drone for a walk this morning. It was a tad windy on previous days so the drone sat in its carry case with a fully charged battery. It was time to use up some of the charge and rain was expected later in the day, not to mention a tropical storm toward week's end.

ActiveTrack as used to let the drone follow JD from various positions. But the route was fairly open, so there wasn't much tree and obstacle risk. The FPV view overlay will let you see the follow position changes.

Auto return to home was within a foot of takeoff. It has done better.
