Clayton Van Huss talks with archaeologist Gary Byers about the archaeology of Christmas. In this first episode of a three-part series on the archaeology of Christmas, Dr. Byers tells us about the historical characters who are mentioned in the Gospel accounts of the birth of Jesus. Dr. Gary Byers is a member of Associates for Biblical Research. He is the Co-Director of excavations at ancient Shiloh and the Dean of the College of Archaeology & Biblical History at Trinity Southwest University as well as a professor and lecturer at various institutions of higher learning.
