MTH Trains With Proto Sound boards Dead WORK Arounds :)

Hill Top Saw Shop Meets MTH Electric Trains with Proto sound boards issues. ONE boards fried so nothing worked with that tender. Stuck a rectifier and by passed the need for all that crap. SECOND with proto sound 2, battery needs to be changed & I'm not wanting to deal with keeping track, so CAPACITORS instead of battery's . And last I have a 2-6-6-6 Articulated that works just fine. It never had a battery so wish MTH had a real kit to replicate that one :)
