My guest for today is Jamie Fleming. She helps fellow trauma survivors discover more hope and healing in their lives by sharing my own real life story of healing and the healing word art I paint at AfterTraumaArt.com

She was sexually abused several times from the age of 4 by two uncles. For the next 30 years of my life Jamie lived and perceived life through a trauma filter of fear every moment of every single day. When no amount of prayer, pills, church attendance, counseling, or wishful thinking worked, she was offered a unique opportunity to try psychedelic-assisted therapy in a medically monitored setting (she was treated with Ibogaine & 5-MeO DMT). Within just hours the trauma was gone.

It's now been 3 years since the treatment and her trauma has never returned. Now, she shares her healing story as an artist, media guest, and speaker to help other survivors move beyond the mental prison of their own traumas and struggles.
