Do I Thank God? - August 18, 2024 - Sunday Sermons

Regina Angelorum Press Inc.. is pleased to bring you Sunday Sermons with Father Anthony Pillari.
“Do I Thank God” –August 18, 2024 – Thirteenth Sunday after Pentecost
Gal 3:16-22
Luke17:11-19
• Beautiful lesson to give thanks to God.
• Am I like the 9 lepers who don’t bother to thank God for His blessings?
• Am I like the leper that returns to thank God?
• Gratitude is one of the great paths to holiness.
• St. Therese of Lisieux would entrust her most difficult intentions to the Holy Souls in Purgatory.
• Father Pillari entrusts to them the intention to be able to offer the Traditional Latin Mass every day.
• 11th c. St. Peter Damien says that thousands of souls are released from Purgatory on the feast of the Assumption.
• Story of the deceased godmother and the great number of released souls on the Assumption.
• Thank God for the many souls that are welcomed to heaven through the graces of our prayers and Masses.
• Our joy and charity will increase as we practice gratitude.
