In an attempt to rescue the kidnapped Captain Amazing (Greg Kinnear) from Casanova Frankenstein's (Geoffrey Rush) mansion, the Mystery Men accidentally set off the Psycho-Frakulator machine inadvertently leading to the Captain's demise.
Mystery Men (1999): A group of aspiring superheroes repeatedly fail to protect their city due to their ineptitude. However, they soon get another chance to prove themselves when a mysterious villain rises to power.
