Bells ring through Paris as Notre Dame re-opens its doors

Notre Dame’s famous bells tolled as the cathedral re-opened its doors on Saturday (December 7), in a ceremony enveloped in liturgical rites. French President Emmanuel Macron thanked first responders, donors and supporters in France, and around the world, while recounting the fire that raged through the cathedral on April 15, 2019.
