Nell is dating a lawyer. Grandpa doesn't trust him because he is a lawyer. When Nell goes to see him before he goes on a business trip and overhears a couple of messages left on his answering machine by women. Nell is insecure and when one of those women goes with him on his trip, she freaks out and leaves a message on his machine telling him she's dumping him. But when she learns that she's wrong, she doesn't know what to do. Julie tells Nell she should talk to him and apologize, which she nixes. That's when Katie suggests she erase the message problem is how does she get into his apartment.
