UNESCO recognises traditional Nablus soap-making as Intangible Cultural Heritage

UNESCO has added the centuries-old tradition of Nabulsi soap-making to its Intangible Cultural Heritage list. The craft originated in the Palestinian city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank and has been passed down through families ever since.
