3. However:
a. Satanic Temple members try to start After School Satan Clubs in public school districts that allow Christian-based religious programs to use their facilities. They started a club in Saucon Valley because the Good News Club, which is Christian, had been permitted by the district. Satanic Temple members say they want to give families a choice, but otherwise do not support religion in the public schools.
b. Everett said because the district’s Good News Club appears now to be inactive, its After School Satan Club will be on hold. But she said they will seek to reopen it if the Christian club resumes.

a. F the Mormons
b. Still having issues with correct name of the Church.
viii. Feelings, Friends, Friends
1. The Great Thanksgiving Disinvite
a. Heard about this: family members disinvitng friends who voted "wrong" in last election. People not showing up to Church because election went wrong. Correlation with the HP who took a dixie.
b. Odd, if you think about it: talk so much about community and appreciating diverse viewpoints.
c. Issue of community. How to keep people together. Describe it federalist 2
d. If you dig deeper, see diversity is about appearance and heritage, not ideas. Think TV show "The View": different races, but same ideas.
e. Everyone is gregarious, social animals, but crucially important. Since they base ideas on feelings, internal experiences, not facts, need social pressure and social cues to verify what they are feeling.
f. Words like "other directed" come to mind: fitting with the crowd, the emotional feeling of belonging and validation.
g. The key is not not mere community, or mere crowd, but which community, which crowd. if you want community, can get that from the Order of Nehors, the Gadianton Robbers, or witches coven. They all have community. People holding a seance have community, but also communion with unclean spirits. Get the point?
h. Community and socializing are good: Aristotle said people who live alone are either animals or gods. And we all know, because of the fall, there are more beats than gods.
i. The fundamental logical error is ad populum. You mother may have told you if everyone was jumping off a bridge would you do it?
j. Sadly, some people do jump.
2. He's Not My President"
a. This expression entered the political discourse babblesphere about the time Obama became president. Some of his supporters demeaned that republicans say "Say he's your president." Rush Limbaugh said it once. I was listening to George Norry, who was interviewing D'Inesh D'Sousza, he asked D'Souza to say it.
b. It's an old American custom, that when two children fight, the winner pins the other one down and have him say, "Uncle" as a sign of defeat. This demand that Republican say "He's my president" is a similar tactic. Ans is similarly juvenile.
c. Now when W Bush-43, or Trump won, people will say, "He's not my president."
d. .
e. But don't you think it odd, doesn't it feel creepy for someone to say, "He's not my president," when clearly and legally he is?
f. It should feel creepy. That is denialism. He is the president, whether you say so or not. And highlights the mental health difference between left and right.
g. People feel they can just announce Something (express their feelings) and then they are suddenly valid, suddenly true. Reality doesn't function that way--only for God. On God can speak and reality conform. For fragile mortals, no.
h. I am not sure how we can bridge this gap--social pressure and person-limited emotions.
