Pro soccer player Eduardo Bove (22) suffers mid-match cardiac arrest out of the blue

DEC 1, 2024. Play was stopped during the 17th minute of the Fiorentina vs Inter Milan match in the Italian A Series (highest soccer league) when Fiorentina midfielder Eduardo Bove (22) collapsed out of the blue. It turns out his collapse was due to a heart attack. He may need to have an internal cardiac defibrillator (ICD) implanted.
