"Those who disturb must go!: The removal of critical professors from universities" is the title of the book by two authors who both experienced as professors how quickly one can lose one's supposedly secure existence and one's job at a university without any comprehensible reasons.

Heike Egner was a university professor for geography and regional research at the University of Klagenfurt, Austria, for eight years. She had headed an institute there since 2011. In May 2018, she was dismissed without notice by the rector "out of the blue". She was not initially given any specific reasons for this.
