QuidProQuo World's first and only completely on-chain marketplace

Quid Pro Quo is a world first: an ENTIRELY on-chain marketplace that uses dynamic smart contracts between counterparties to govern their transaction rather than relying upon intermediation by a third party.

Made possible by the Gajumaru and Gajus - Bitcoin Next Generation brought to life. The Gajumaru is an actual blockchain that actually works, built with the express purpose of creating a unifying resource layer that allows blockchain technology to reach its potential as an economic transformer.

The point of QuidProQuo is to do something that blockchain and crypto have not done before now: create a simple answer to the question of what you can do with your crypto - Gajus. Answer: anything. Buy Sell. Trade. Its real money. Its a real currency. As such, it can and should be USED.

The core (Groot) is a proof of work protocol, comprising the a highly efficient (thousands of times more efficient than Bitcoin) blockchain base and the mint. The mint implements the Bitcoin Next Generation protocol to create Gajus, the native currency of the Gajumaru, as seen here in this demonstration walkthrough.

Groot is an open resource that enables a universe of interoperable but distinct infrastructure, rooted in Groot as a neutral space between economic islands. This allows for solutions to fit needs and allows the right blend of competing interests to be set to meet the specific needs of that infrastructure or trust market. Most importantly, it delivers upon the promise of blockchain to dispense with the economic taxation of intermediated fragmentation within the economy.

To make this possible, the Gajumaru addresses four critical missing elements that have left the existing blockchain protocols as fractured islands with high friction connections between them that invite domination by intermediaries, precisely what blockchain was supposed to remove our dependency upon:

1. Groot, the core of the Gajumaru. A non-corruptible, censorship resistant, open-source, proof of work blockchain protocol that provides programmatic consensus for all operations. Extremely fast, very low cost, trustless. Open to all, controlled by none, a common base that enables a universe of infrastructure (see Associate Chains below) to seamlessly connect to it and through it.
2. A non-debaseable, non-corruptible, censorship resistant cryptocurrency mint (also Groot) that establishes a common, native cryptocurrency that operates with speed, sureness and efficiency in real-world use, implementing the Bitcoin Next Generation Protocol. This allows value to flow throughout the system.
3. Associate chains (infrastructure) operate independently while interacting through this shared resource layer, allowing specific needs to be met by specific infrastructural solutions, including
national and regulatory boundaries.
4. Secure, enterprise friendly, native smart contract language and efficient virtual machines designed by world class engineers of global repute provide the operating tools for the entire system.

It’s a starting point, not an end. It’s the foundation for a distributed economic model that actually works for everyone, that nobody owns or controls. We call it the ‘Internet of Economics’.
