HOW OLD IS THE EARTH? THE YOUNG EARTH VS OLD EARTH DEBATE: with Eric Gustafson

The debate within the Christian community can be fierce when discussing the age of the earth. For the Young Earth Christians, the debate is a matter of heresy for those who believe in an old earth. However, the Old Earth proponents tend to lean toward a different interpretation of the Hebrew language as found in the book of Genesis. There is no clear cut definition for the term for “day” is in Scripture. Although both sides believe in the Messiah and that Jesus came to save those who turn to him, unfortunately the discussion about the age of the earth sparks division in some cases. Eric Gustafson gives his views on the decay of animals and how the scientific method is a determinate for the age of the earth.
