National Fried Chicken Day cooks up deals

July 6 is National Fried Chicken Day, with several restaurants offering discounts on the comfort food staple. For $10 at KFC, customers can get either nine crispy tenders, six pieces of chicken, a ton of popcorn nuggets, or 12 hot wings. Bojangles is offering a $5 discount on 12-piece super tailgate meals, all you have to do is tweet a chicken leg emoji with the hashtag "It's Bo Time," to @Bojanges1977 Twitter account.  White castle is offering 12 chicken rings for $2.99. At McDonald's customers can get 20 chicken mcnuggets for $4.99. And Baltimore-area favorite Royal Farms is welcoming anyone with a registered RoFo Rewards card to come get a free two-piece, white, dark or tender meal for free until 8 p.m. Friday.
