    This likely has little to do with AI. Theyve been the WORST insurance company out there for MANY years. Always HORRIBLE to work with as a Counselor. I can only imagine how many have died as a result of their terrible service. Through the years I've often wondered how many of the teens I worked with (substance abuse + mental health) who were forced out of treatment long before they were ready by this company have died as a result.

    My first career job was with a major insurance company, a very promising career. I declined a raise & left that company when I saw how despicable upper management was. They did NOT care one bit about the customer.

    Steve, Sounds like you guys are debating how a bullet exited and re-entered a body. Wouldn’t it make more sense he was silenced and prevented from testifying for either how the Algorithm specifically evaluates if it’s cheaper to refuse to pay for services based on the ratio of who will pursue them legally and who will not, instead of what customers are entitled to. Or to prevent his explaining how they were directed to pay off individuals in government to gain a monopoly. Or both. Either way with all we have learned, seems unlikely some random disgruntled man figured out how to become a professional assassin on u tube…

    a man gunned down from behind in the street .... isn't that every Saturday in Chicago?!!!!!!!! Now that it's a big name high-$$ CEO it's a big deal. When it's just another kid in NYC, LA, Chicago....so what. It's likely that CEO was killed for a lot more than what most are murdered for. Millions vs. a dime bag. Maybe, as with so many other CEOs in our country, he was trafficking in children. We've known since the 80's about them doing this when they shopped from binders of photos like a Sears catalog!! given the choice between befriending a liberal or a machine, at least with the machine I can have an intelligent conversation without it whining about how miserable & oppressed it is. AI Jesus...."use at your own risk", unlike the real Jesus, to whom you can unload your burdens without them being recorded & used in a court of lawlessness against you. that the people haven't ripped that device out of the church & smashed it in the gutter where it belongs speaks to how we are in the Laodicean period.

    Whoever Programs the AI can effect all of humanity both positively and negatively. If Evil people do the programing AI will be Evil. If Good people program the AI then the AI will be mostly Good. There must be Acceptable Morality built into the programing, This must be a main concern with any AI systems and quantum computing, AI must not replace God The Creator or discount the teachings of the Holy Bible.

    I think you are hearing "antagonism" is never talked about and is always the biggest contributing factor -- sending old meds, doctors over the horn denying maintenance drugs, delays, trimming down physical tests -- often for the worst possible reasons, they can't do it without "rank and file" and this is no time to let front-line or lower level employees off the hook. There's a whole "underground" world inside these companies, clean-cut presentation of course. Those more mature actors being the first point of contact. Probably part of the reason the white house should not be filled with people from the same area.
