The Crimes of Christian Drosten: Admitting Covid Is a Common Cold

Christian Drosten co-authored a methodological paper describing the setup and validation of a PCR-based workflow that would enable laboratories to detect the alleged novel severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The paper was wrought with scientific flaws and the authors did not disclose multiple conflicts of interest. The issues were described in detail by an international consortium of scientists who published the Corman-Drosten Review Report in November 2020.

Drosten, whose qualifications have come under question, has recently criticised incoming NIH Director Professor Jay Bhattacharya, for "downplaying covid's deadliness".
