Initially I was debating whether or not to share this, but then I realized how this experience has the power to help so many people so it's worth it! A couple weeks ago by the time this video comes out I decided to ask out a girl I liked and who I thought liked me too and I got rejected... For anyone who knows me, you know that I'm very picky when it comes to who I let into my life, so for me to ask this girl out I was trusting my intuition and felt what I thought was a strong connection. As I've said in the past I am genuinely happy single but that doesn't mean I can't be happy with the right girl in a relationship as well, so I thought this was one of those situations where she could enhance my life even more! Now when this didn't go as I hoped, it stung, but I also realized there's another side to rejection which is that I had the courage to do it...even with all my speech challenges and health challenges I did something that most people are too afraid to do who don't have these challenges! So the purpose of today's video is to help anyone who's been rejected and it doesn't have to just be relationships; it could be getting cut by a team, not getting the job you wanted etc. and to show you that rejection isn't the end and there's so many amazing things on the other side! Also, to be clear this is not one of those corny relationship videos, I'm not doing this to get sympathy, and I have no ill will towards the girl, I genuinely wish her happiness and hold nothing against her!
